Your heart is made of glass?
Your heart is made of glass or other fragile meterial (implying that you're weak) so that you 'd never trust anyone with your heart or "give your heart to someone because you want to question weather they would be able to physically manage your heart and you want to prevent them from accidentally breaking / broken? If you had in effect given your heart to someone and they eventually break, would you have hoped that a fragment of this (glass of your heart) would cut the individual who has treated glass?
Haha, good question. Again, this is not something new for you. I like all metaphors. But my heart is not made of glass. It is made of stone. More … I'm hesitant to give it to anyone, so I do not think I could ever fully trust someone else. At least they did not take me (to fall in love, I mean), ie in this case, I do not see myself having much choice in the matter. I do not think it is a question that someone might be physically incapable of managing my heart. I make many allowances for people who matter to me. I do not expect too much from them, so it's much easier for them to meet my expectations. And when I I care about someone, I give them many chances while with people I do not like, I tend to give them one chance. If I gave my heart to someone and they eventually break (as is happening now, actually), then yes, I sincerely hope that shard of glass would reduce the individual. But my heart is not made of glass, so when they left, I hope fell on their feet. The only way I can see my broken heart should be fact, if I fell in love with someone and it broke my heart. Other than that, in situations where I had something that was like my heart is breaking, but much less intense than having a break real love my heart, I was able to regroup and move forward.
